I believe this is to do with Securom the much loved drm. Apparently the 4.07 disc version of it is not compatable with win 7 x64, you need to go here:
https://support.securom.com/analysis.php and "Download the SecuROM diag tool and run a scan. Just get it to update the nessesary files and it should then run." If you have installed the game in program files that will complicate things for you if you decide to tinker with it, and who doesn't? Suggest you move it out of there to something like C: Games, then update securom. Good luck. |

I can't update the Securom program, it says it fails to log into server. I have it allowed on my firewall too. Isn't the Securom fix only meant for the disk version of the game, I have the digital copy.
The game dir is already in another drive and out of program files folder. |

You could try asking over at Mission4today. I don't have win7 x64 to be of much help, just passing on what I'd seen. I can download it ok but use linux and I'm not sure securom is up to that and if it would run. Perhaps the server was down for some reason?
I'd also be surprised if securom has been updated in any download version. The download from Gogamer does not have drm and could possibly be your saviour at less than $10, at M4T there's info about removing securom from your system, i,e, uninstall game, remove securom assuming you don't have anything else with it installed then install the gogamer thing. Cost afew bucks but could save time? Check out m4t though, do a search for securom on site. All the best. |

Did you check this:
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthr...ight=Windows+7 Maybe you can just move your folder to another directory and start it from there. Ofcause you can also install it onto another disk (eg. D:\ E:\ F:\ etc.) if you have. Last edited by RayVad; 01-21-2014 at 08:41 AM. |
