Yes the Team Fusion thing is a great improvement, but, so what?

I'm bored to tears with the same map, same planes, and same scenario over and over again.

I like to fly Allied, and I like ground attack, so this means I have nothing to do in CloD, as the only flyable that the RAF has that carries bombs is the near useless Blenheim.

How about just a touch of patience? We've been at this 3 months and look what we've already achieved. How many YEARS did it take 46 to get all those scenarios?

I'm shocked.

Bliss, I am not being critical of the TF group or their efforts, or any individual. The TF "mod" is a good improvement, I applaud it.

I am merely saying what I feel, and why you don't see me online much anymore.

I have been online a few times since your release, and I keep trying to get back into the sim, as I still love virtual flying. But it's still CloD, with the same planes, same map, and same scenario that we have been at for what? Two years now?

I'm not blaming TF, or you, or ATAG for that. It's not your, or anyone else's fault but the original team that failed to deliver for us all.

I am in no way saying that TF should rush out a bunch of new content, I know that is not in the cards. With the level of detail of the entire sim new content is bound to be slow in coming and very small in number.

CloD was simply a bridge too far. Oleg tried to make a very large, mulitple aircraft study sim, ala DCS. Sadly I don't believe it is possible without a budget that would make EA blush. It would have been great if he could have pulled it off, but our genre is just too small, and no publisher can justify the kind of expense necessary to have the level of detail that CloD has, and sell it to so small an audience.

So, what we have is perhaps the best Spitfire I/II and Bf 109 E sim out there.

I'm just afraid that is all it will ever be.

No offense meant.

Same for me,
I really appreciate the work TF and ATAG are doing.
I find on them a sort of heroic resistance to what has been sadly imposed to our community.
I really appreciate their unbelievable passion, against a world where commercial interests have driven an highly questionable decision, giving premature death to the edge of WWII flight sims.
I am also happy to see that the launch of TF patch has been a good success.
My simpathies are all with them.
What I'm trying to express is that I'm afraid to see that they probably will have to continue this work without enough instruments to bring the simulation to what was expected to be.
In my opinion CLOD was intended to be the leading WWII sim that would recover almost all WWII simmers under one flag for years, like IL2 was.
It's hard to reach this target with instruments they are given and (probably) with opposition of commercial competitors, expecially if you want to mantain on all teathers and addons the same (or even higher) level of the commercial product.
Anyway every support from community has to be given to this really passionate group that is working for us absolutely free.

Excellent work Team Fusion and ATAG

Finally I can play this great game normally.
Even if there are 100+ players on the ATAG-server

I'm a big fan of Battle of Britain and I hope that you will continue your work

Thanks for your effort

Bobby

Have to love the "I want more planes" crowd.
This is a new sim. TF demonstrated their ability with the patch. We need only give them time now.
For the time being I'm perfectly happy to play it as is.
