Nice to past the time before the SOW realese

Having looked through many the screenshots at the 352 site I must say it's a great waste of human resources that Oleg and these guys don't team up doing the SoW:BoB map instead...

Imagine the effort of doing a map like that, looking up old maps and images and just doing the country side in between... There are two teams doing the same work right now!

this is what IL2 has been missing all this time, realistic maps with incredible detail.

This map is being done to il2 1946, with the old engine, i hope to 4.08m .... Oleg Maddox are making a new series. SOW is being done with everything new, including the new engine, I think the idea of who is doing this map is to have fun while the SOW does not come, not compete with him.

You should check out the new BoB map textures on AAA. Not sure whether or not I can post a link, but now there's SoW map textures. Have a look around, they're really nice:grin

This new BoB map will be v4.09 as it uses slovakia objects.
