Has the FPS drop been fixed when zoomed in?

The bug for me was when tracking a target and then going to gunsight view to shoot my FPS would drop to single figures and be unplayable.

The last patch seems to have fixed it for me...including the slow down in the vicinity of manned enemy aircraft.
