Let's not start another discussion in regards to flak, the flak is adequate on both sides of the channel.

Get off your high horse and realize this was exactly as stated in the OP, a joke, an inside one at that. But thanks for your .02 cents about "the people that play on ATAG" I'm sure the 0 people that play on your server fly correct. |

So I was thrown out of the room at 0.53 because I sometimes fly red?

We've done a number of side by side tests of various 109 models with their RAF counterparts (easily done on the Server) and the findings have been surprising. Again, this has been a test only to explore certain aspects of the online flight modelling of the CoD aircraft (others are checking the bombers of both sides) where side by side comparos can be quickly and readily done with experienced human virtual pilots. We have the main Server #1 which has remained Full Switch as an excellent reference for the same -- and current -- 1.08 beta patch. Many have difficulty understanding the concept of running a test, and automatically assume that a temporary test is a permanent thing. Our Server #2 has done yeoman service as a testbed, primarily for new missions where many variables and glitches can be worked out. It is also doing exemplary service for us right now in running the temporary FM tests described above. It could conceivably be used for many other different types of testing in the future -- leaving the main Server #1 untouched. Many in ATAG understandably felt that, for the duration of any FM testing, Server #2 should be closed and passworded to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding of what the temporary testing means. However, other than by specific invitation, that would prevent non-ATAG fliers from having a 1 vs 1 try themselves out of interest or, hopefully, to relay their observances out of what specific changes they may have noticed to their favourite aircraft with ETE switched off vs ETE switched on (over on Server #1). Personally, I was in favour of a closed trial because of the possible reaction similar to that depicted in the ATAG parody video -- so many people automatically look to the worst of motives which don't actually exist. The trial is expected to end shortly, as it is. Just a few quick tests to run, ETE will be switched back on, then back to mission testing per usual.
