It's shooting at convergence that makes the real difference.

The vid is also a reminder of what the game used to look like in the last official version.....

Lol, good shot sir, good shot sir, good shot sir, good shot sir. Ahhh shut up.

Here you go Furbs... This was a quick sortie I just did, it took a little longer than it normally takes but you get the picture. I can do this regularly on ATAG.

With Standard loadout and convergence in a Spit IIa.
Most people try to shoot from dead astern and centre line.. That means your loading the fuselage and parts of the wings with hits but nothing structural that will bring it down.

20-30degree diving attack angle aiming for middle of wing at 250yards does it every time if you hit the right spot.
That's consistent with my experience as well. I either shoot wings and engines coming from slightly upwards/below, or aim for the cockpits. If i don't it takes a lot of rounds to down them. There's a lot of empty space inside a bomber and depending on the angle the bullets meet it, many can be simply going through it without hitting anything vital.

Cheers!
Do you really mean that considering there are many things that will still need fixing after the patch? I just hope there is some type of update today since Blacksix said they just wanted to keep it until today and that they were sorry it couldn't be pushed out last week and the week before that. I will take it the fixing hasn't gone well if we hear nothing from them today.
