The game/sim which produced those videos in the OP's post is still there.

Just roll back to the last official version and start making movies.
Really, Dutch? I do respect you and most of the posters in this forum, but, please, do me a tiny favour: step out the melée, walk away for a few seconds just to get a good perspective, look around and back in time and tell me, from that privileged point of view: who did start the fire?.

From my heart and for what I have realised till now, the very initial match wasn't ignited on the 'payers' side. Was it?

Oh I have. And not just for a few seconds. You'll notice I said 'start making movies'.

I agree to some extent, but the unfinished release was the only way we were going to see a finished release. Most of the venom on the forums are from people who have a hard time with this, not to mention how long its taking to get finished. Unfortunately patience in todays generations is not our strong suit. I think our investment convinced the beancounters to keep spending major dollars to finish the development, so there is still a chance.

Thanks for posting this video collection!

I already knew all of them but it is a nice reminder about the great video skills that some people in the COD community have.

And btw, you forgot another great video:

Need a reminder about how often launcher.exe crashes make this game unplayable?

This video is for sure a nice reminder about the great video skills that some people in the COD community have, but it's definitely NOT a reminder about how great this sim is. Produced nearly 1 year after the release the videos shows all the conspicuous technical problems IL2 CloD still suffers.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your efforts and sharing DUI !!

Honestly it was quite difficult to get realistic shots for that movie without having bugs in the scene. There is alot of post processing on those scenes in order to make it look better aswell.

I know and that is exactly what I mean. This video is just awesome, but unfortunately it is not the truth about this "great sim". Apart from the stutters IL2 Cliffs of Dover is far away from this and it still breaks my heart to see what should be possible.
