It's not been out yesterday !

That's just a mess. I'm starting to be so disapointed with CoD, I just pray they finish it one day.

Too many areas of th game, not only performance. Further i'm not running lower hand computer, it runs many recent games very decently.

It's unbelievable such a situation.

Unbelievable.

And moreover, it's so much promizing game, it's just not far from being one of the best sim, it just does'nt work yet, and this is a more than 12 months old "yet".

Blacksix ? Ilya ? Please do stabilize the game in all its parts, the graphic engine, the airplanes performance, it's just not fair to have it like that today.

My teamates and I we're trying to get the team fight on coms, just can't concentrate on flying ! Just can't do it.
... 100% agree, I also dont have outdated hardware, I can play the latest games without any problems, just CloD wont run as it should. Warping and disappearing planes etc., etc., etc., ... the list of issues is endless and more than one year after release, these issues have not been fixed, no matter how many beta patches have been released since. This cuts the fun of flying this sim down to zero for me.

I fear your desperate call is like talking to the wind. I´d recommend you play other games while waiting until this one gets fixed one day.
This is meant as "constructive criticism". Do something useful with your free time.

I don't see much improvement with the new grafics engine on my system. And the old one looks better, too. To me it seems a waste of precious developer resources, that should better have been put into fixing more gameplay issues.

At least they have implemented some goodies in that regard. Namely F-16 barrel roll gone, JU-88 gyro and vector to target and homeplate radio command working somehow. Is the mp CTD fixed now? As I don't fly multiplayer atm (no coop gui) I can't tell.

On any account it is not much for the 9 months it took the devs to do it.

I would just like to ask a question regarding the new graphics engine. I remember it was said in one of the friday updates that it was going to be over or around 1gb in size, but when we did get the beta patch it was only 250 or so MB. But it seems people are still having the same problems that the re-write was supposed to fix are still being experienced. Any idea's why the re-write was alot smaller than initially suggested? or is it 1GB across multiple patches?

Dont get me wrong, it works great for me and im quite happy with it, even on my old pc it did as well (except the tree's, but that doesnt bother me). Im only asking this out of pure curiosity, and also as alot of ppl seem to be mentioning it lately (the new re-write).

The size of the patch is largely irrelevant. As the rewrite is the engine, not the textures and models, there is not going to be a massive size to them. The largest part of the update is probably sounds files and images. The engine itself does not include all the images and models, so doesn't need to be multiple GBs large.

To think that the devs aren't aware of the issues that CLoD has is silly, to be honest, as is people's tendencies to get their knickers in a twist because of it. Then again, that's MY opinion on the case

While I patiently wait for CLoD to become better, I'm over in DCS' KA-50. You want a learningcurve that's absolutely vicious and flying that's completely unforgiving? The Black Shark will give you that, and more.

I've seen an Ilya comment in the bugtrack saying that one of the issue would not be dealt with (don't remember which one) but we could imagine that it was because the pilot would be drunk or something like that ....
That's not serious job, sorry.
They made things worse that it was with the FM of Spit II.

In my opinion, what they need to do now is take rest, then wake up and get things seriously dealt with.

You may forgot it's more than a year old software now.

I know very nicely designed aircrafts which were designed is less than CoD since it's out.

I talked about X-plane if you followed the youtube link. Nothing else.

No one can disagree this game is far from finished and polished, in every area there are issues. It's just close (or not too far) from being good.

By the way if you're answering then don't get me wrong, I really love CoD as it is supposed to be ... and I'll be an active fan & pilot, I just want to be sure that they do work & finish it, soon or later, sooner the better.
