Agreed, it is far from perfect and it has been out for how many years now?

On that note, I have had more CTDs in RoF than CoD

Yep. I have to admit that I enjoy buying additional stuff for flight sims.

Whether scenery or aircraft for FSX at £40 a pop (although there's also a huge amount of free stuff around) or the price of a pint or two on bits for RoF.

It'a similar to the scale model building hobby. People have piles of model kits on the shelf that've been there for years.

I enjoy buying planes, guns, instruments etc and trying them out.

Sorry if anyone finds this offensive.

I haven't seen anyone say that it's perfect. That's why I'm happy to buy more content. I'd like to see them continue to improve it, and that costs money.

Depends; what kind of instruments do you collect? Musical I'm okay with but medical not so much

I was shocked that at Christmas time he decided that 777 studios had survived due to 'God' (as he thanked in the email) and not the fact that customers had paid money for his game, keeping the company afloat.

Perhaps god purchased everything available?

Exactally!

Which is why I wish 1C would switch to the 777 way of generating $

The 1C method of charning for a sequal every 12+ months does not seem to be working as well as 777 method of charging for DLC every couple of months..

That is the say the 777 method has provides good feedback on what they are doing.. Why wait 12 months and bundle up all the DLC into one big sequal, only to find out most people didn't give a rats arse about differnt colored scarfs.. Best to dish it out peice meal month to month to see what people like and don't like

Not to mention the more consistant cash flow has to make life ezer to pay the bills to keep the lights on!

Yikes...that's odd. Since buying the Iron Cross edition when it came out, and flying all 26 planes in my hangar in different modes, I have not had one single CTD in ROF. I guess you can't put a price on a properly set up rig!

If someone mentioning "God" shocks you, you are really desperately looking for something to be shocked about.
