I just delete the whole IC Softclub folder from my documents first backing up any ini files I might need. It all gets rebuilt when you first run game after patch.

Mostly things are better for me apart from the dreaded disappearing trees and also some corruption in the start up and options screens which dosen't really matter.

I think therefore I will uninstall Clod and go back to the offial steam version and wait while you dedicated chaps fix it.

Look up your graphic card's stock clockspeeds and then check if it is clocking up properly with GPU-Z(sensors tab).
If it isn't ...delete logo.wmv .

I went by the instructions one of my friends gave me. I didn't open the patch folder, I just right clicked it and extracted it to the Cliffs of Dover folder in the common folder. I used Winrar to extract it. I have now re installed the game 3 times, and still no dice.

To be on the safe side, anyone think this patch could be installed with the Jonesoft Mod Enabler?

look... to be frank, with the patching process in Beta, the sim should be patched up without mods of any kind. It should be vanilla for patching... then if that is working for you, then go about reinstalling mods - albeit one at a time and test at each mod install

Even duct tape can't fix stupid... but it can muffle the sound.

if you mean JSGME, yes that works perfectly. I've been using it to switch between versions for offline/online play since 2 patches ago.

Verify your files on Steam, make sure "keep this game up to date" is not enabled, and extract the patch folders into their respective folders in the jsgmemods folder ie:

C:\cliffs of dover\jsgme\patch 106\parts
C:\cliffs of dover\jsgme\patch 107\parts

Then use the JSGME program as usual to switch between versions ad hoc.

Gun camera footage only shows what the tracers looked like to a very old crappy camera that is vibrating like mad to the tune of multiple guns firing from the same platform the camera is mounted on, not what it would look like to the eye.

If you want the simulation to look like gun camera footage ask the developers to model fixed focus, fixed exposure setting, fixed EVERYTHING, and then simulate all the guns being mounted to your virtual head.
