Sad to see you go Meaker, but good on you if you can break the habit and step away for a bit.

Well, wrong subforum for this I guess (should really be in the pilot's lounge) but it's sad to see this. Keep in mind this is very much a beta patch and you're free to revert to the official version (in which Hurries start perfectly fine). It's a long wait for this patch, many of us will come and go, but imagine the outcry if what we currently have was released officially. 1C actually does need to take their time, frustrating as it is, it's a complex flight sim being made by a tiny team.

Can feel your pain. Hurricanes are my ride and its now porked for on line. I been with this series from the demo il2 days and I can understand folks frustrations.
I not lost heart yet, I go and play with mission builder and some missions over home territory over the Isle of Wight offline for now. I got all the historical AA in the correct places and when working graphics are beautiful. It does make you think whether there is still a development team out there on this sometimes. Surprised some developed content had not been included too. I remember a few years back submitting photos of the Solent forts and seeing the excellent draft models. You don't see these in the game with many other things absent. Oh well hope to see you back when Hurri fixed, I go back to lurking on forum.

Hopefully it will be a problem that is quickly resolved. It really cuts down on the plane list for Red.

Good bye for now, Hope to see you again soon.

How about a stickied thread in the pilots lounge for the guys who want to post about such stuff.

For me it's a normal thing. Sometimes you stick with something and other times you let go. Is it really necessary to announce that to the world?
I've been gone for like months, before that it was years.

But doesn't the same apply to real life anyways? I don't do the same stuff over and over again every day. I'd die from boredom.

The best feeling to me is if you can return after being gone for some time and still being welcomed. That's how friends, family and decent hobbies should work.
If you're required to show up on schedule each day it's nothing but a nuissance.
