its a gts 450 which is above the min spec of gfx card required and i run at 1240 res so i dont see the problem ill have a checks and see if i can find a solution

EDIT

ive tried everything i can think of but still this game does not want to lad im begining to think that this is just a peice of ****. i hat to say that because ive been a massive fan of the IL-2 serries ever since the release of IL-2 Sturmovik FB and this is just making me annoyed

I am having the same issue. Red box, no map, crash to desktop once I press fly but still can hear engine sound. I have no idea why it does that.

That is a Windows7/Vista error, "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" because windows thought it didn't respond fast enough.

There is a registry fix for that, just google for "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered"

I have this error often with CoD and ArmA II

Just out of curiosity you dont have any overclocking done to your graphics card do you? I noticed similar issues if I overclocked my card too much, where other games would be fine, CoD would crash...

What is the exact number of the driver? 301.24 for old cards, the 301.10 for 680 only.
