Good news indeed!

But you're encouraging us. Thats a dangerous thing to do...
Now we think that a ceremony involving Planespotter and an Aardvark can bring about Oleg sightings...

We all know how many weeks that is Thanks for the update anyway

EDIT: A small clarification. If you have not been around the IL2 forums before there is a legendary phrase of "Two weeks" ("be sure" may be added for emphasis). That generally means anywhere between 3 weeks and a couple of years - but never two weeks The "two weeks" joke is getting really stale after 10 years or so and originally it appeared in the Falcon 4 forums according to hearsay...

Feuerfalke I did not say that the update will come as a result of planespotter asking, which you obviously think. I just wanted to make a point out of the fact, that every time some one ask for when an update can be expected he or she gets flamed. This is not fair from my point of view. Stop the bashing of people wanting to know about updates and just ignore them if it really bugs you. What harm can come from asking, if the updates will not come as a result anyway??

Planespotter is not demanding anything, but has a question, which he would like to have answered. Please have respect for other peoples right to ask questions.. And don't disrespect them just because they are of another opinion than yourself.

Sorry for this outburst, but I think enough is enough..

Bring on the updates

OK, I confess.

Before posting I smeared myself in a kilo of chicken giblets, grabbed a 1/32 scale Spitfire model and ran three times around a yew tree naked while chanting "HIEMALIS COMPARIO" (that's latin for storm update).

Give it a try, it might work for you too.

European or Asian chicken giblets?

It's really funny YOU added this line to your comment - ROFLOL!

What do you think you will find more often on this board? My "bashing", as you call it, people asking for updates or threads demanding them?

So why should your sense of "enough" be more valuable than mine?

Hmm, I only have a 1/48 Spitfire available. Do you think that repeating your ritual with that one may have undesired effects? Another problem is that it's a Mk Vb - but most recent movies have used Mk V:s for BoB so it may work? Could it have the effect that the channel fighting 1941-42 module arrive before BoB?

I think that the number of increasing questions regarding updates is a problem that has been created by 1C/Maddox games themselves. No updates for two months after the statement below got to produce a negative response from a community (especially as we are hopefully now in the "close to beta" time frame)?

"...Here we begin to post development news of BoB.... some time, but not so rare... I hope once per 2-3 weeks or so .... and more close to beta - each week like in old good time with IL-2..."

Sure, there have been so many similar posts now with questions about why the updates have stopped, but everyone does not come here daily so they may not find the relevant information in all the "noise"... With the statement above as a sticky at the top of the forum you got to ask who's got the ball really?

Feuerfalke I do not intend to start arguing with you. I just wanted to point out that YOU shot the messenger when a person asks for when an update will come. Why is this question regarding an update not allowed?? It is not a demand and certainly will not speed up the coming of the update. So what is the problem??
Why have you had enough of people asking for updates? How can that in any way damage the game or this forum?? And I say again it is not a demand it is a question..

Just becaurse you have had enough does not give you the right to disrespect other peoples opinions or posts. This forum is not about flaming other people when you think they are in the wrong!
Oh.. And by the way if you did not understand the word bashing then it means: to attack physically or verbally
