Good. We wouldn't want that great mind - never mind the reciprocal wit - to go cold.

Have your thought of publishing your thoughts, specifically those on this forum? I believe Random Cottage are still in business?

I hadn't, but I realise I'm nothing without you.

Sad but I feel it too, I've been here since these boards were made but changed my name a few times to escape the sort of crap that is going on here, same as it did on the IL2 sub forum too. Same people doing the here too.

Please do not think it rude if I point out, respectfully, that 'exellent' does, in fact, contain a 'c'.

Thus: 'excellent.'

(A minor blemish on an otherwise spotless record)

Gold star if anyone spots the mistake along with the hipocrisy.

Making mocking posts on a public forum and crying foul when others do the same?

Again, I have no quarrel with either of you but you've now taken this to three or four threads simultaneously. It was funny initially, but now my only response to "your" asking people to adjudicate is incredulity.

I am sure this message cannot be aimed at me. I have faith that all your (bases belong to me) messages are equally good-natured, and this is a temporary aberration. I am sure it is, in fact.

Now I must retire for the time being. This forum seems to have regained its happiness and bonhomie, and that in large part must be down to you, Bongodriver, and your relentless pursuit of happiness.

For some reason the letter Y has just popped into my head (I am not sure why).

But their stubborness and inability to realise that each side is entitled to hold THEIR OWN opinion continues to result in the disfigurement and spamming of interesting or useful threads with rubbish.

Also, for the moderators - quoting from the Official Rules:

"Violations of the following 22 rules are prohibited.

10. Off topic discussion - in full or in part. Purposeful and/ or continuous off topic discussion. Threads that promote discussion of competitor game products is Off Topic discussion."

A fine example is the immediately preceding posts to this one - nothing at all to do with Sternjaeger's initial post, just the same verbal jousting (polite description) that is choking every topic here like overgrowing weeds.

Me too.
What's wrong with you kendo65? This is banana, no one is entitled to their own opinion here, especially one that differs from the self proclaimed righteous "inner circle", you should know that by now, geeez! Get with the "party program" and start agreeing like everybody else.

P.S Look at Falstaff, his conversion is going great! Use him as an example and soon you'll have more "friends" then "non-friends".

I find myself agreeing with Kendo65 and Feathered IV here, this place could have been such a fantastic opportunity for community help and support, but if anything we have exactly the opposite. What made me think of it is the last examples of newbies (alleged or not, it doesn't matter) who voiced their opinion and disappointment and were so stupidly attacked and accused of god knows what. I mean, stop for a second about it: if these folks are indeed real newbies (or if other newcomers read your reactions), what kind of image do you think they would get from this?! My whole Alamo point is that there's a bunch of fanatics sitting on top of a bare mountain with NOTHING in their hands but promises, and instead of reaching out and saying "hey, we know it's been an endless joke this patch thing, but please have faith, it will be marvellous and the best combat sim ever!" they just spew out all their resentment and anger blaming people that complain along the lines of "hey guys, sorry to bring this up but it kinda feels like we've been ripped off!" for the failure of CoD. They don't blame the devs for their appalling lack of management, but the folks that used their honestly earned money to buy a produce that will never be. Because let's be honest, CoD per se is a failure: an incomplete sim which worked as a HUGE beta for devs, (and mind you, they still talk about beta patch release!) who racked up on useful info and have started developing something else.

Battle of Moscow will surely be a more refined product, which will still bring with itself all the incompetence of the managerial line of 1C/Maddox Games unfortunately, but which surely will make treasure of all the learning curve of CoD.

And hey, again I'm sorry if my opinion upsets someone, but if you aren't mature enough to take a critique and ask mods to ban negative comments and people who made them, then you'd better shut this place down and thinking about what the hell went wrong down the line fellas.
