Man, imagine the whining....ten more years of this!? No thanks! They would have to get everything perfect, first time, every time!

Saying that, I'm simply enjoying imagining some of my favourite aircraft in the CloD engine. I think the FW190 would be absolutely fantastic, as energy management is absolutely vital, but useful when done well. Another of my favourites is already in there, in the form of the Wellie, but it's not flyable. Thanks for that 1c.

I also cannot wait for the Western Desert campaigns.

A P40 of either type, Hawk 81 or 87, modeled with the fidelity of this sim will be heaven for me, closely followed by a Ki-61.

I've never thought so.

But I don't choose my favorites by how they perform in the game.

Only gamers do that.

And Luftwhiners.

Luftwhiners? your talking about a plane that uses a copy of the DB601 and was inspired by the HE100D.....

p40..my favorite plane of all time.i cannot wait to see the p40 cockpit in Dover. One of the most under estimated planes in il2.

what was it that enabled IL2 series to become what it is today and survive all these years is a better question. That is what Cliffs of Dover deserves imo.

Hey Woody, you been following the developments on the recent Desert Warhawk find? Great thread over at the key publishing Historic forum.

Also, Kindle has a free download of 'KittyHawk Pilot', thr story of James Edwards, who flew in 260sqn in the Desert. I've started reading it and it's great reading.
