GUI is my #1 thing as well. It is so clunky and difficult to navigate the menus. They need to make everything much more intuitive and modern. For example check out the GUI for Rise of Flight. Their quick mission generator is amazing! It's not just a bunch of drop down menus...it's interactive and shows you visually how to adjust settings, not just with text.

I doubt we see the GUI redone for CloD though. My bet is they will redo it for BoM, then when you "merge" CloD into BoM we will get the new GUI. But as for CloD stand alone I doubt they will use their limited resources on redoing it and focus on the sequel.

This sim is beautiful. I love the graphics. Once it's running at great fps, along with some AA it will be mind blowing. The jaggies really need to get fixed as Furbs has stated. It's 2012. Give me AA.

The ROF GUI is light years ahead of CLOD, in fact when i first saw the CLOD GUI in the update pics i thought it was a bad joke. Its just awful and seems like something from the 90's, EAW's GUI was better.
In the 7 years of development did they not plan for a up to date user friendly intuitive GUI?

EAW's GUI was better and was released in 1998

S!

EAW GUI really was easy to use and also well supported the atmosphere of the game. Fond memories. IMHO the CoD GUI is a step back rather than forward, but again I guess that it can go through changes after the most critical issues are sorted out with the game.
