Well.... just popped onto ATAG and....

I SAW SOME PLANES!

Now all I need to do is work on aircraft identification....

My first encounter involved watching some Stukas heading home. What a sight!

My second encounter.... I was at a height of 6km and spied movement below me. I made the necessary adjustments and went into a dive. Hurtling towards my target at an insane speed, I let rip with the cannons raining hot molten death upon my foe...... when.... ARGH! It's a Bf-110! Whoever that lone pilot was... I apologise profusely! Count your lucky stars I am an appalling shot, eh?

My third encounter.... I saw a lone dot on the horizon and figured I would watch it for some time just to make sure it wasn't another one of our boys. Finally convinced it was an Allied plane I started flying towards it......... only to discover it was actually a fruit fly on my monitor

And then..... My first CTD! I feel like I'm part of the club now!

Even in failure..... damn I love this game!

Cool stuff! I was flying about an hour ago (same time as you) and had a little earlier tried (unsuccessfully) to knock down two Stukas over Ramsgate. You may have spotted the same ones making a successful return. They had just destroyed their designated target of parked Beaufighters parked at Ramsgate airfield.

The CTD's are annoying and hopefully will be fixed with the next patch.

Sounds like you picked a good time to fly. With Teamspeak you can coordinate with the Ju87's or 110's and spot yourself another 1000 meters above and up sun of them. Then just wait for an unwary Snapper to take a run at your buddies below. I've been picked off that way a time or two! LOL

Volkseig, Snapper is dead right, flying on comms is the best, and a great way to learn.

I just had a chat with one of the chaps from our Luftwaffe arm (JG26) about your situation and he said he'd be happy to fly with you and give you some pointers. His name in game is JG26_DavidRed.
Here's a little bit about us to save me prattling on

That gives you our connection details for our TS3 server. Anyway, we are mostly on during weekend evenings, especially Sundays. PM me, drop in, whatever is easiest.
