I usually dont give advices about hardware, some people tend to blame you for his mistakes, but buy a buldozer to play games is just wrong, and if they are simulators is even worse.
Also if you want a advice about get graphics card for a game you should say at what resolution you will play with it. - Graphics card : Forget get the 6xxx series, as someone said there drivers problems (blue lines) and we dont know if they will be fixed. Get something with 2-3GB, nVidia or ATI, in simulators you will have handle with big textures and a lot of objects, this is not a crappy console port. If you are not over more of a "HD" resolution the HD7950 3Gb is a good choice, you can find a reference model for around 350€, enough to maxed out CLoD. - CPU : Forget Bulldozer, its slow in single thread performance hence slow in games !! So ... looking at Intel the 2500k is a very nice option, with nice overclock potential. But the new Ivy bridges are just around the corner, I think in April, so my advice is wait a bit, they will be faster, with better overclock and more energy efficient at the same price of what is now in the market. |
