External view: I believe if you click on ALT F2 you will go to external view. Do this ONLY when you're done flying that aircraft because you can't return to the cockpit. This also works when you bail out so you can see yourself (the animated pilot figure) free-falling, then parachuting down. You can also pan around with TrackIR or your mouse to view the surroundings.

If flak doesn't get me I usually survive, because there are lots of other options than taking the direct route...

I have a ping of 240 just about all the time on ATAG as it is based in the US and I am in Australia. But it makes no difference so jump on ATAG.

I was in the top 20 for kills for ages till I turned my attention to scripts rather than flyig for the moment.

So ping is not an issue

RE: Looking at your plane externally when you land, hit ALT+F2 - it's the shortcut for "Leave Aircraft"

Ping of over 100ms and you wont play because of it? LOL I can remember having to get a DOS Telnet account to connect to the original Warbirds back in 1995 on a 2800 baud modem and 350ms was a good day

that vid was brilliant, see the guy falling out of the plane after the second bounce. think he was actually bailing out but great timing with the "AHHHHHHHHH" sound effects.
