They should really just make a backup of the important info on this forum (bugs reported, skins shared, mods listed, screenshots, etc.) and then wipe the whole darn thing - start fresh.

The perspective on that photo is rather amusing, I imagine the caption 'Giant forces food up pygmy babies nose'

No wander she looks browbeaten.

Thats now six people left, people like carguy etc are doing a great job for 1C *sarcasam mode off* (your shiny customer killer medal is coming soon)
I know that he thinks he's defending 1C but he's just helping force customers away with his own brand of denial.

People who see what I'm getting at please dont moan to hard about this game as much and please dont react by quiting this game or forum 1C need the money or this game, or dies for everyone.

Don't worry too much, when the patch is eventually released I am sure they will play the game. Being a member of this crazy forum has no bearing on whether you can play it or not.

Right, Meusli. Most of them will play the game if it gets fixed. Some of the louder moaners might be even so insolent to again show their nicks here.

Problem being, a lot of people do list "performance" as being a major factor in why they don't play CLOD any more, but right after that they mention content and "fun-factor". Losing a forum member is probably indicative of losing 50-100 non-forum members. This forum only represents a tiny portion of the people who bought CLOD, so a small segment of the forums announcing that they are done with the game could mean hundreds or more have left it forever.

Frame Rates and Flight models are important, but replayability and fun-factor are also just as important as well. Saying, "go back to Halo" or "bye-bye" every time someone has a legitimate complaint will not bring new blood to the genre. Clod, like a person having an operation requires new blood, otherwise it just dies on the table.

I post on another forum with over 150,000 users, and everyone who did buy CLOD who posts there admits that the game is collecting dust in their STEAM library, and not even installed on their PCs. They even admit that doubling the FPS wouldn't make them install the game again because the community is toxic from all the basement dwellers and old Luddites who just want a million planes and a billion buttons to click while they endlessly dogfight in the same 2x2km section. Nobody has even hinted that they will buy the sequel, because they have a moral objection to supporting a company that releases 1/2 finished games and is this "closed mouth" with their community.

CLOD's development cycle is a textbook example of making the wrong decision. . . every single time. From the looks of BOM, they're going to do it again, despite what they have heard from reviewers and non-rabid fans.

Insolent? Dude have been vile to some users here, plain and simple. You seem to revel in their leaving because they had a different opinion to you or because their moaning upset you, and the whole time you've used 1C and the defence of this game as your excuse for behaving in the way you have been.

No excuse buddy, if you think of yourself as on a higher level than moaners, dont sink to the level you claim to detest.

I have never been aggresive towards those, who can post their opinion in a respective way. For example, I never touch Thor`s (from the Daidalos team) posts. Main reason being that his criticism is harsh, but presents facts and only facts, with some constructive thinking. All of the people claiming that they are posting the truth should view his posts as an example of how to do it. Because the vast majority lacks even the minimum skills available for this taks. Criticism is not spouting accusations. Obviosly many people either do not know that or are just here to scream , because they don`t know any other way.
