i just dont understand the reason why they are so silent about the status of the upcoming patch.
i really dont get why they cant tell us the reason why it was postponed.
why dont they tell us the reason or the problem that occured a week back?
why dont they tell us:"this week we worked on this part of the graphics engine, we encountered some problems with this and that..."
or just:"this week we tried to solve the problem with xy but havent found a solution so far..."

this would keep the community informed and would increase trust in the devs and the product.
but this total silence and ignorance of questions of the community creates nothing but mistrust and the feeling of beeing lied to...

Now I'm sorry for you as a person Blacksix because i understand that is a very complicated situation, but as you as a worker for the 1C company the only thing that I could say is: it is your work to talk to the community and take also all the bitterness that can come from that.
The 1C lost alot of the trust of the people with their methods as I see from my spot, hoping that it will be resolved by the patcheS (cause the graphic is only the top of the iceberg, a big one for sure), but to act with the customers as they were spoiled children when the brutal reality is the one that I illustrated above is really offensive.

Obviously if offensive and the other words that i used are not too much for the administrators sensitivity..

Thanks B6. While we're waiting I think I'll have a bit more fun and fly a few missions in the Blenhiem. Sinking those unprotected Blue ships is a Hoot! You'ld think they'ld learn! Maybe they've got better things to do!

I do not think honestly that any of us here are negative, just passionate, as you are I am sure, about this great project!

Black6 as one of the more vocal members of this forum i want to say my frustration and questioning of the devs is in no way directed at you.
I think you have a very hard job and are doing your best with what you are given.

Thanks for trying your best in what looks to be a impossible job with little or no info or help from above.

That being said...threats to hold back updates as some sort of punishment after the year CLOD has had are completely out of order and will not sit well with PAYING CUSTOMERS though it probably says alot more than was intended.

Spot on, anything else is just like wearing pink glasses.

I Buy my game.

I get dissapointed with the problems on release but believe in MG when they say just wait we will fix it.

Told with each patch that things have been fixed that clearly have not.

Silence.

1 year later....

Silence.

I wait because I am forced to wait.

Communication finally starts again.

I listen when the community is told the beta is almost ready.

Public scorning now begining by figures in power here when responses are unfavourable to exaggerations of timelines and content.

Then threats of silent treatment start.
