There doesn't seem to be any kind of logic or standardisation as there are in other countries aircraft. That said, I still prefer red over blue

Back on topic though, I'm just waiting for the I16 and the I153 (as long as it has rockets!). They were, quite a lot of the time, my main choice in 1946 even. I'd love to have seen the look on the faces of some of the 190 pilots that got bounced (and often downed) from behind by me in my I16, so I'm eager to give it a go in CloD.
If the rockets are simulated a bit closer to reality as in 1946, nobody would care about them, neither friend nor foe.
And if the FM is closer to reality as in 1946, there wont be any bouncing with I16 or I153, except in very rare and lucky circumstances.

In IL2 : 1946, the Ilyushin IL-2 actually escorted the I16/I153 rocket attacks.

The P40, because its an entirely new plane with good armament and good speed. Also its one of those "cross conflict" aircraft that once modeled unlock new theatre possibilites.
I chose that over all others because russians hold zero interest for me.

Well, even if I can't they're still the aircraft I'm most looking forward to. Pre- and early war aircraft are such a joy to fly and manage, especially with the added realism of CloD over the original Il2. Then it all gets a bit boring in the middle until we get the Typhoon, Tempest and 190.

Also, with those two, the Fiat already modeled and (I assume) since the 109 is already modeled someone could mod it in to a 109C we could have quite a nice basic Spanish Civil War add on/mod. That's something I've always wanted at least.

If the Hs123 is flyable, I will HAVE to fly it

What a great little plane, actually stretches the definition of Cr@pplane to call it that

Yes, the Lagg3 Mig1 and Mig3 Yak1 and Yak7 I16 I153 I152 I15 Pe2 Pe3 Sb2 Tb3 Mbr2bis Db3 Mbr2 Db3t IL2 Sb2m Yak4 Su2 Ar2 Db3f U2 Ut1 all this I could fly with pleasure.

Do not forget there where many types of I16 with many engines and many different guns.

I nearly forgot the Bi1 rocket plane but it never entered active service, bad luck.

RAF version of P-51 also FW190, Tempest, Typhoon. For bombing missions a Lancaster would be awesome !
