We did put our address in like XXX.XXX.XX.X:21000

Do we need anything else? Do we need to change 21000?
Open port 21000udp

Use the link below and select your router, once you are on the next web page, click the top right corner " Click here to skip this advertisement... " .

Select IL2 Forgotten Battles from the list of games and follow the instructions.

Thanks for your patient help sir. But what is a router? There are a bunch of them, and since I have no idea what does it mean, I decided its better to ask you first before I do anything stupid that will make me regret later.

If you are not the person who originally put it together then get them to assist you with Router passwords etc.

Meanwhile have a look at this to familiarize yourself.

But sir, I don't use modem. I have a thing called "3 mobile broadband". Basically it is a USB, all I need to do is to plug into my computer and press "connect".
And everytime when I connect, I get a different IP address.

This is your problem... you have a dynamic IP address, which means everytime you switch off your USB/wifi thingy.. the network reassigns the IP addresses.

This means you have to update everyone with your IP address if you're running a server. Joining a server should be no problem unless the network changes IP's at regular intervals.
If running a server, this is where Hyperlobby works better as it always has (should have) your current IP.

Google "firewall exceptions" including your operating system.

Eg: "win 7 firewall exceptions" = result > http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/w...ndows-Firewall

Using Hyperlobby (back on page one of my post has the link info) you can host after opening port 21000udp
