Download. Run the patch. Point it at your IL-2 1946 directory. Go!

Basically this is the same patching method that has been used since IL-2 1.0. It's a really uncomplicated system although not as user friendly as the auto updaters that are commonplace nowadays. Back in 2001... this was the normal.

Yes mate. Clean, unmodded 4.10 or 4.101.

And don't forget the hotfix for 4.11!

If you're starting from a stock IL-2 1946 DVD install then you'll need the 4.08, 4.09, 4.10 and 4.10.1 patches to be installed first. If those are already installed then only the 4.11 patch is required.

When the game starts up look in the lower left corner of the screen while it is loading to see what version you have at present.

If you've played with HSFX/UP or other mod packs I'm not sure what is required but someone around here could probably help.
