I love the parallels between the development progress of the new IL-2 series and Hitler's invasion plans.

Let's do an invasion of Britain. . .

It's actually the other way around. Russia and the East was always Hitler's focus. He never wanted to go to war with Britain, and never planned in advance for an invasion. Order's before number 16 dictated that he would break Britain by waging war on her economy: ironic considering that the German war machine was only geared towards Blitzkrieg.
