Is it possible you have several windows on top of each other?
Can you edit the window at all?

Not sure.. but I had that happen once.. If I remember correctly, I had to hold the <Alt> key down while right mouse click on the grey box.. than an option popped up to close it

I believe that you can edit the info windows from the config file, if nothing else works. There should be a post somewhere on this subject.

Cheers,

I have used the Alt/click method and have closed all the windows, but that window will not go away with any command. I would be interested about the conf.ini all the other config files, if there is anything in there I would be glad to hear what I could possibly do, I have uninstalled and installed the game 3 times now and it will just not go away.

Its supposed to work like this:
alt-click the grey rectangle to select it, and then either move it and resize it, right-click to customize it, or right-click to close it.

So thats not working for you BeoWolf?

No, it did not work thru at least 3 reinstalls, 10 reboots, and changing screen settings, I finally got it to go away, with hitting "Close window" about 6 times in a row very quickly. So that's good now, only if I can get the dang TIR to stop changing profiles on me, I disabled that too, in TIR software. lol....

Thanks for the replies fellas, I appreciate it.
