This is the model I use: Samsung - UE32D5000 - 32" LED-backlit LCD TV - 1080p . Obviously some people think a dedicated monitor is better ( I had a 22" samsung monitor before) but I personally don't have any problems with it and don't see ghosting or blurring. I have v synch on.

ive been wondering what is it within a TV that can make it good monitor ? what does one look for basicly ? or is there some trial and error.

my dev friend uses 2 x 32 inch samsung tv,s for his kartsim development and wonderfull looking graphics. when i plug my pc into my 37 inch its just stupidly crap looking.

I love my panasonic 42" lcd. Its awesome for il2. no blur issues at all. And I can see planes and bombers from max distance

I was just about to start a similar thread after listening to you spotting targets miles away last night on ATAG! What model is this? I'm interested in the resolution particularly since I would need to use it for text too - thanks.

I am currently using a 32" LG, 60 htz with a 1366x768 res.

It's great, but come Christmas day I will be mounting the 40" Samsung 120htz, 1920x1080 native res, it has a 60000:1 dynamic contrast ration (which should help my eyes a bit) and of course 1080p HD.

The Christmas fat man is good this year, giving me a Logitech G940 flight system as well...so, I will be crashing and burning trying to get used to the rudder peddles...so all you blue aces take it easy if ya see a Spit wobbling across the channl .
