I'll install 64bit windows in a few weeks time, I have a copy here gathering dust. My concern is with 64bit drivers to the other hardware I run.

I've got a spare system that I can leave as 32bit for the time being until the 64bit install is proven.

You do realize you can actually have more than one operating system on the same pc? Like say one 32 bit another 64?

What old hardware are you running that doesn't have 64bit drivers?

Nice one Peril, yeah as discussed moving to 64bit Win7, a couple of extra gigs of RAM and it'll make all the difference. I wouldnt worry about older hardware, I think pretty much everything runs well now on 64bit, even 32 bit only apps seem to do fine on mine. As mentioned above if its a real problem, no worries just seperate off a partition and run a copy of 32 bit windows as well, though i really doubt you'll need to do this.
