since the latest patch with the awesome 109 sound i have played CLOD continuously. Please, please can someone get the Spit and Hurricane sound right though. the tick over on the ground is perfect but the take off and aerial sounds are nothing like it. Whoever did the 109 sound could you do the works on these as well?

Er the 109 in my opinion is way off as well , clearly the audio still has a long way to go , having elements of the sound type dose not mean you have a sound package - that would be like the 3d modelers delivering half the 109.

yeah your probably right but compared to the power drill it sounded like before its a big improvement. Hopefully in time with all the updates things will continue to improve.

Agree about the RAF fighters. A few of us who ride motorcycles recognized the current version's external sounds right away: 18-wheel semi-trailers on the highway! Those aren't Spits or Hurries coming up behind us.....those are Peterbilts!!! LOL

Jafa's sound mods sounded very good with external (F2 key) and not quite as good on the flyby (F3 key) sounds. Here's a comparo I did with an earlier CoD version:
