Great Preformance from New Nvidia Drivers

Context, high fps are possible if in a single aircraft over water at low res. FPS only mean something if there is a reference point used, a benchmark like black death, even then graphics settings and state of the installation will have an effect on final figures.

high FPS means nothing....smoothness is more important, which means smaller difference between lowest and highest FPS....and how constant is FPS (ofcourse FPS avg shouldnt be below 40).....this you can get with optimised sim....which is not the case here...

I give it a try! I have the same system specs like you! But anyway i ordered an gtx560 Ti with 2 gb!
At least its`s good playable,but I disabled the shadows to make it a little bit smoother with track IR. The rest varies from low (buildings/trees) to high (the rest). But I`m far away from 125 fps!!!!

what is the best settings for me?

right now i have everything set to high except buildings on medium and no grass

amd dual core 5400+
6 gb ram
gtx 460se 1gb vid card
Win 7 ultimate 64 bit

my system is Intel Quad2 core Q 9450 2.66 gigs CPU, 4 gigs ram. and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 1 gig

My god... My system is AMD 4x3.1Ghz, 4Go RAM, Geforce GTX460 1Go.
And I'm far from your FPS (with medium settings), + I have shuttering and game crash all the time (except today but I dont know how I did that.........).

Have you some tips to improve my performances?

I honestly think that lowering resolution and settings can at the current state of the sim can only take you so far. What the best settings are for each simmer is best determined by adjusting settings and observing the impact, everyone's system is a bit different, not only due to system specs, but also due to what else might be running in the background, how cluttered your HDD is with age old stuff and so on.
At times, maybe every year or every other year a complete, clean reinstall of the OS solves many problems just like that.

But most importantly keep in mind that the graphics engine is being reworked right now, so untill that is completed and released in a patch I would not worry too much about desperately trying to tweak performance. I am pretty relaxed about the issue, sitting back and waiting what the anounced 50% performance increase after the reworked engine will look like.

Try lowering some settings, raising others, for instance change forest, building detail, building amount to low, this has helped me out alot, the sim still looks great too. Raise texture's to high, model detail high, land shading high, Also you could try overclocking your cpu and gpu, clearing your cache, adding more ram and turning off your page file(8gb ram only), turn off windows aero theme

I've done all of that (I'm playing 1366x768 btw).
I'm cleaning up all hard disks and installing Seven 64 (until now I had x32, so it'll be better for my 4G RAM). And I got to learn somewhere how to overclock Have you any links, which explains how to do this correctly without risks?
