109 Can't Ignite Fuel Storage Tanks

When you hit the fuel tank and it explodes, nothing really severe happens in the first moment. I conclude that the fuel tank in the current model configuration doesn´t detonate the plane in mid air ( in the best case the plane is still on fire and so the cockpit) immediately, but the plane will go down very soon due to a huge fuel leak (as a result of the tank explosion?).

Despite the OT, thanks for sharing these observations. Good to know that at least something happens. (I was getting very frustrated lately... big flash - no result)

I can't recall too many critical AC explosions of any kind. Not one that obliterates the AC. Maybe only from collision. I look forward to when we have some real satisfying BIG BANGS.
