New beta patch, good things/bad things

We have the MAJOR explosion bug, but after saw that, i decided to test the evolving new sound engine, and it's starts to sound really good!

Iam aware its a beta, I purchased the Alpha, Your right the sound is better, but thats as far as it goes for me, the new beta murders my FPS by 50%. Ive spent hours this evening doing fresh installs, new driver, old drivers, but its the patch, I roll back to the last patch no problem, new patch kills my game.
