Yeah I think two grand is a bit much. I would imagine a big chunk of it is for insurance. I'm guessing the Australian gentleman doesn't worry too much about that side of it.

a lot of is has to do with insurance like you said. they have lifted a lot of restrictions at airshows. before exibitors werent allowed to give rides without jumping through a lot of hoops. i was asking around at the gathering of mustangs and legends in 08 and was hitting a brick wall. as for the aussie gent....if he owns that many fighter ac he really isnt concerned about where the gas money is coming from.
