We have no idea if the company has gone under or if they're still afloat.
You did read Luthier's last update that states everything is fine and they have the full support of their IC publisher. Of course it is possible the developers are lying, but they weren't lying when they said they were working on the last 60 updates too the original IL-2 series and last 6 updates to the new series.

Unless you are sat in the MG office in Moscow you have no idea if this is the same team or not.
Looking at the state of CoD I seriously doubt it...

It's still a really poor way to run a game development studio, when so many paying customers (and so many potential sales) are eager for news.

All I want is a post every few days saying "hey guys we're still working on it, bear with us".

I feel like that's not too much to ask.

Maddox Games has a lot of good will saved up from il2fb. But that good will is why I bought their game without thinking twice to support the studio, and why I haven't and won't ask for a refund.

Why? Do you think they might not be working on it?

not if they say "we're working on this or that" "we did this, or that", "we still haven't got this or that".

and most important of all, we'll let you know more at that date.

this will free us from stalking this forum and bashing our brains on the walls, but just came back until that date, and check again.

I don't want to go out for three weeks, only to find out that the news, or patch, was only a couple of days after I went off for the three weeks.

Because, n the end, we all want this game to succeed, and be good.. And that's what is making us keep coming in here.

Time by itself does not make nothing better

it's a normal thing, but maybe we have our lives too.. it would have been so hard to say "guys, we have the july off for summer holiday, we'll resume working in august" so that we would know to came back in august?!!

the current MG behavior has no excuse and it is unacceptable, I'm sorry.
