Default New NVIDIA Driver 280.19

http://www.guru3d.com/news/nvidia-ge...iver-download/

No word of SLI support for Clod. Well, maybe its still there even if not mentioned?
If not i find that REALLY strage. Cant be a job of weeks to make a profile - can it?

Since i am at work and can only test in a few hrs when i get home id appreciate if anyoen could test and give feedback.

I guess only luthier knows the answer to this, he seems to suggest that both SLI and Crossfire are fixed.

Running them now, no change for COD, no SLI profile for COD.

awesome! a month passed without this, and another one probably following.

yet, they are not on Nvidia's site yet.. so they are not an official release (not even a beta one).

Its not there because neither NVidia or AMD cares enough for CoD to put it anywhere near the top of their to do list.

Has zero to do with luthier, the dev team, santa claus or the easter bunny.

Im sure Luthier said that nvidia were onboard, not that it matters you can create your own profile you dont need to have a predifined one, but from what I have read in doing this there is little gain if any, so it suggests that SLI still doesn't work, thats the most likely reason for nvidia not including it.

last comment from luthier In May; Added ATI Crossfire support. NVidia SLI support will become available when a profile for the game is added in an upcoming official driver release;

The simplest way to know if your SLI is working is to create a new profile, point the profile to your CLOD launcher then stick some FSAA on and then activate the SLI slider, this will tell you if your game supports SLI, i would suggest using a basic SFR (split frame rendering) for starters. When I last did this there was nothing it simply didn't work.

Why speculate Tree?

It's nothing more than a beta driver, and you immediately start blaming the dev team. You sir need a vacation.

And why would Nvidia care about a title that sells so few copies?

you ask tree to stop blaming devs (which actually is a little bit off, as the driver is not officially out yet), but at the same time try to put it on Nvidia shoulders.. but the probability that Nvidia would not care (they have hundreds of requests from the biggest to the smallest games) or not have the man power to do it are sooo small, that are almost inexistent..

Sorry Tree, posted before my morning tea. EL is not a morning person.

I do suspect that Nvidia has bigger fish to fry right now, lots of big name, big selling titles coming out soon.

We'll see when this beta becomes WHQL. (Or whatever they call it now a days).
