I saw your photo's I think, with the iphone? They were very good, considering.
I'm glad everyone likes them, thanks for commenting. And thanks for the welcome back norseman!
If we're going to talk about advertising on old planes, I have to mention Red Bull - I can definitely understand why some people don't like the logo on the side, but you must admit, they could be a lot worse. I'm just grateful that they are invested in running warbirds, and I remind myself that they could cover the entire bird in advertising if they wanted to - but they don't. I'm grateful for that, especially to Red Bull, a large corporation.
In fact - i'm surprised warbird operators don't do this (cover them completely), considering the costs of running even a single seat fighter these days, that advertising money must be very tempting. We should be grateful these aeroplanes don't resemble a circa 1970 F1 car (or present day F1 car, for that matter). Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate an authentic paint scheme as much as or mroe than the bloke next to me, but if it keeps them in the sky, i'm made up, and I tip my hat to any man willing to keep em up.
Besides, it doesn't really look that bad!
