Just look at state of game and think what possibilities for promoting this game are there. People are already unhappy, because they have received not what they expected. Imagine how angry they would be, if nice and effective ad (lie) campaign was run.

... may they go down the drain, I would not waste a tear for them!

I guess Cliffs of Dover may as well survive and go on without them.

Have to agree. While Ubisoft sucks for a variety of reasons, I can't blame them for not wasting money promoting a game(a niche game at that) that went live in such a condition.

In all likely hood they didnt actually lose money but used creative accounting to make the books look bad to avoid paying corporate taxes.
