I know, they'd rather live in the dark than broaden the experience they have.
It seems if you like a Game/Sim, you can only install one on your hard-drive as it is Blasphemy to mention any others. Anyway, this is with 16x AF and 6X AA, everything maxed out...what's not to like....it's fun! AND NO POP-UP!!!!!! ![]() Gaijin are currently looking at sound updates.....2-years old and the developer is at least trying to please it's customers......and listening to feedback! Cheers, MP

Of course there are no pop ups in WoP, Map size and view distance are by far too small to fill the video-mem!!!

And why people don't try to compare the AIRCRAFT MODELS and GROUND UNITS MODELS between the two titles? And cockpits? And dynamic shadows in EVERYTHING? People know NOTHING about software and talk a lot of crap. WoP is a nice "AIRCRAFT SHOOTER", but is only good in terms of performance. The only real flaw in Clod is the LOD loading, but I can understand that: it's because in a SIM you need to priorize things... Why people don't compare the "eyecandy" of aircrafts/lights in Clod? The effects? The damage effects? The sense os moviment? The dynamic shadows and reflections in cockpit and aircraft? People are blind... Clod need a lot of optimizations and development, but have BEAUTIFUL graphics. The planes are simple amazing in all details. Last edited by LoBiSoMeM; 05-08-2011 at 10:17 PM. |

Compare WOP and IL2COD is like compare Call of Duty and ArmA 2
At the end you're just only shaming yourself by not understand what they are. |

I play IL2COD almost maxed out (1920x1080)except buildings(med) and it doesn't graphically look so stunning to me, in fact I see it like the graphics were already obsolete. At least on the landscape thing. |

I mostly play it midday time settings and doesn't look that nice, besides AA doesn't work at least with my GPU and jaggies are everywhere even at 1080 res. |

Agree, COD is a serious sim, WOP is a damn nice, beautiful to see game. And I do love the filters, including that yellowish shade and the vignetting, reminds me of the ruined, hystorical footage I have seen
I was very disappointed though, I installed this latest update 1039, full of joy about the "new cameras" and these cameras do not work ingame, they're only dedicated to replays. Same for the slow-motion. Sad. |

It's not a case of not wanting to broaden experience MP. It's re-living the experience I don't want to do. I lost interest in cartoons a few years ago. Watching your 190 vid I was almost expecting the B17 to bring out one of those oversized ACME horseshoe magnets out of the bomb bay and suck the 190 to its doom ![]() Of course, at the end of the clip we'd find that the Roadrunner was flying the B17, and Wiley Coyote was in the 190 ![]() WOP and COD are two entirely different genres. There is no comparison between the two. One is a sim and one is a cartoon. |

Blinkered, all drawn in by a bit of bling and unable to see the reality lol.
