Updating those drivers and codecs didn't seem to help with either game. I tried running as administrator and in various compatibility modes. Any other ideas? Edit: In the log file I happened to notice this (WARNING: Can't find form . Actor <SovietSoldierNoForm01>) could that be the problem? After all it's the only listing in the log file that says WARNING.

You could try to remove sounds.vfs file from the game directory to test loading without music.. checks if this problem is with ogg..

Disable secondary displays if any. Run the game, alt-tab from game menu and launch task manager. Set affinity for the game process there (on the processes tab) to 1 or 2 cores (right-click on it and choose 'set affinity'). After that, alt-tab back to the game and try to run the mission.

@OSS
Tried that and it didn't help, still have a crash. Do you know if the game uses Flash Player? For anything?

@Sneaksie
I only have one display, and I disabled crossfire so I only have on adapter. Setting Affinity didn't help. Same crash. Maybe it's just an incompatibility with Win7 64-bit

I guess the reason not in OGG because:

Code:
...
StartMusic : sounds\music\b_dark4.ogg
...
StartMusic : sounds\music\briefing.ogg
...
StartMusic : sounds\music\b_dark3.ogg

No, it can't be the problem.
BTW, my log has only 4 additional lines before level start:

Code:
...
StartMusic : sounds\music\b_dark3.ogg
Loading SMF: Models\Indoor\Misc\cigareta.smf
Loading SMF: Models\Indoor\Misc\karandash2.smf
Loading SMF: Models\Indoor\Devices\nasos_02.SMF
Loading SMF: Models\Indoor\details\topor.SMF
I will try to test on Win7 x64 tonight.

What's the specifications of your Win7 PC? Also, would it help if I posted a DXDiag? And are those last four .smf files missing from my game? Is that why my log doesn't have them?
