I've seen it too. I followed a 109 in a dive, and at 400 mph he was rolling about 3 times faster than me. So fast, that I could never EVER do it in a 109.
It's definitely not "using the plane to the fullest", no it's totally superhuman, impossible, like in Hollywood movies. And again, why those barrel rolls?!!! come on, it was so annoying in il2, and now they're back (and even faster)
