These high res' 'renders' were posted by Luthier at Sukoi (then simHQ). I don't know if they are from the game, it seems like it is questionable if they are (the translation of his comment can be taken two ways):

http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.ph...3216159/1.html

and discussed at UBI forums:

that is only because we are now in the last few weeks before release, so the various people who very recently have been given pre release access (or were promotional material) now start to publicize it, and it is popping up all over the place

but as you noticed from last weeks event, any leaked in-game video clips from the pre-gold version get jumped on pretty quick by 1C to have it removed (so people dont get bad impressions from a non finished product by mistake)

up till this last phase of production, 90% of all BoB/SoW info was provided here in the last few years

good find, it looks pretty much spot on !! (for the recently harvested field)

i hate to say it, but the bright greens in the foliage and trees just looks to fluro to me in some of the other screenshots posted (not the one under discussion here with the fields). lush brigh green is possible in the south of england, but not the fluro brightness we still have in some of those other ( non final ?) screenshots. the other colors look fine to me, it just the greens used for england that are to strong. then again, if the greens in some of the other screenshots taken by the same person look fine, maybe it is a lighting effect under certain angles or conditions that makes it appear to strong in some other screenshots.

note: a few months ago we already had a 20 pg thread on this issue, no need to get sidetracked again

The colours look fine to me,you see in top picture at the tail end of the a/c
theirs a field with a shadow of a cloud which make's the green look alot deeper. The bottom pic is way to dark, you can see this effect inside your own home even, look at your walls where sun light comes in if you have a wall in shadow
the paint on the walls will look like two different shade's.The picture does not
show overcast if it was the bottom picture would be the one i would like.
Clear skies brighter colours, overcast deeper colours

That's how I feel though many are saying Britain has tropical green terrain in broad daylight so I guess we're mistaken.

+1 If the game looks like perpetual, unnaturally bright sunrise conditions all the time I will have to get working on a colour profile in my GPU settings.

Unnecessary nitpick question #84172: Are the Defiant's guns pointing forward into the propeller arc in that second-last screen on the first page? Could they physically do that, i.e. was the interrupter due to being unable to traverse the guns into that position or was it simply a lock on the guns firing that didn't affect traversal?

Graphics look low resolution and shoddy - even the calender ones. I can cook up something that looks far far better in design garage in 15mins on my home pc...
