4.10ds & mds

Hey there folks.

I've got 410DS up and running fine but I can't run any MDS maps. Players just get booted-out within a few seconds of spawning in.

I tried with just a moving Akagi CV and no go. Oddly, these maps work when run on a client hosted game(ie not the DS version but full IL2/410).

CRT=0 BTW...no go...


Any thoughts? I see some 4.10 MDS servers running in HL but don't know if they are DS or client based.

Have you tried using the same map without moving objects?
Have you tried using a different map with the same moving objects? I'd expect your scenario to be PTO, try MTO instead, use a desert map.

I run a dedicated server mds map with no problems.

Any message when they get booted?

No mods allowed.Only official 4.10 server patch.

We also have no such problems, only the occasinal kicking whic will be ruled out hopefully w 4.101

Probably a MDS network code error on the carrier spawn, kicking pilots due to limitation.

I hate wasting other people's time...my apologies.


What I failed to mention is that I am ALSO running FBDj 1.8beta2 which is causing the problem.

Running a straight server.cmd load works just fine for MDS in 4.10

Sigh...again, sorry about that...I should have ruled that out first considering it's a beta...
