It's a historical aircraft sim, with over 200+ aircraft flyable. Basically if you're into recreating history and famous air battles then this is for you. Main features are large number of flyable aircraft, weapons and maps faithfully recreated over a span of 10 years, multiple campaigns and missions (many, many more available online), and online flying, with many virtual squadrons availble. It is a fairly complex sim as far as flying goes, and definitely requires at least a joystick, but if you have an interest in vintage aircraft of military history its the best you can buy, period. Plus there are still official patches being released, with many new features that improve the experience.

That's the response there. A jump off point. I would love to get into something like this. Sims are almost a hobby status and seeing the following this game has maybe it would be good for me.
