Startup crash

Hi,

i've just bought Kings's Bounty Crossroads DVD (Polish version). I've installed and activated it.
Now, the game crashes few seconds after displaying title screen (one with flying gems . After that i get msgbox listing some call stack functions.

Additonally when i try to apply patch 1.0.0.1 i get message that "no version of King's Bounty is installed".

I've tried setting resolution in game.ini file - didn't help.
