For some he will always be Hanibal Lector but for me he will always be LC Frost. My favourite war film

good one wookie, i know it is not a film but i think mine has to be band of brothers, then flags of our fathers (only because of ira hayes), then the battle of britain. and finaly the longest day.

My favorite film set in the WWII era is Ballad of a Soldier. Excellent quality.

ww2 was all overt the tv when i was i kid in the 60s. "combat" with vic morrow...garrison's guerrillas....the best airwar series was 12 o'clock high. but as MP said always look on the bright side of life....and war....military comedies were my amongst my favorites. topping the list was "no time for sargents" I highly recommend this if you want a good laugh. its about an american southern country bumpkin that gets drafted....and tries to fit into "this man's army"...



man...they dont show the toilets saluting!!! that is the best part!

Andy Griffith is pretty good. But after he was colorized, it wasn't the same.
