Yes, download T.}{.O.R.s Level Bombing manual. I couldn't hit a thing with high-altitude bombing before I read this. Now it's almost too easy - until you allow for the flak, and the enemy fighters, and not forgetting the problems of getting lined up with the target in the first place....
Thanks, T.}{.O.R., for demonstrating that even an old dog like me can learn new tricks, with the right guidance. That reminds me, I've got to try out an unmentionable mod 4-engined bomber I've downloaded from an unmentionable mod website to see how accurately I can drop a 12,000 lb Tallboy bomb (you didn't read that here ![]() |

Thank you for using it. I am always glad to hear that someone made good use of my manual and learned something out of it. This means I didn't waste my time making it, even though mods were behind the corner at the time.

With the HE111, I'd worked out an aiming point between my pilots rudder pedals at a certain speed, which was fairly accurate. Details sketchy as it was so long ago, but it can be done.
