you cannot select a post and decide if it is trash or not trash.

you cannot expect that in an international forum they can have all the correct use of the English language.

you cannot ignore of the ideas even if to you you they seem trash while to others not.

this e' a free forum expression for all.
if Oleg does not answer it wants to say that it does not have time for respond you therefore remains in wait.
you want to force Oleg to answer to of the piloted questions and I filtered from you I am not d' agreement.

Oleg would not be forced to answer the questions. They'd just be there so that it's easier for him to see (and also easier for the community to see) it was just an idea.
I missed olegs response about the textures, so if the answer was easier to find I may not have asked the question.

I agree, this is a free forum and no one has the right to say if a question, comment or opinion is trash or otherwise, however the sad fact is sometimes one or two topics highjack the entire update thread, turning them into at times heated debates that then drown out other genuine questions and or opinions making them harder for everybody else to find. I would suggest in such instances that debates like those about the clouds and ground texture from last week should have moved off into their own posts where they would have been allowed to either blossom or die at the communities discretion.

My comment about rubbish was mainly directed at these hijacking threads and I apologise for lumping all the questions and comments into the one basket.

I for one think those non English speakers who make the effort to post their questions / thoughts here deserve great admiration for doing so, as most English speakers are less than able to do the same themselves in return.

By the way I'm an Australian, so english is a second language for me too

Oleg usually only stays a few hours, answers a few of the intelligible questions and runs like hell as soon as things start to break down. The rest of the thread, once Oleg leaves can then be ignored. Simple enough. You can also search for Oleg's replies only and save even more time.

That's what I've started doing, the threads are massive.

I like the general idea of this thread, if a workable solution could be found - but I doubt it can. If only questions were permitted, users would make up a random question just so they could post their comment. I am amazed that Oleg has the time to read through some of the rubbish though.

In my opinion, I think that Oleg does read each and every post. He also reads other threads that he finds interesting, or in error. In the end though, he will only answer a question that he feel's deserves an answer, and is not a secret and can be told.

+1 I agree

However, if there was an easier way for Oleg to read the questions, it would save him having to go through a lot of OT posts or posts that are still helpful, but can't be answered really

One person's meat is another's poison, so I think Ruubbish was a bit harsh of me to say (and extremely hypocritical)
