Just finished the storyline, and have 2 Ventura fully loaded for 2 drivers. I've (re)read post 61 and followed all indications. Still most I can get is rank 907 drivers. I'm at easy difficulty setting. Can it be that the setting makes a difference?

I think it's random, and I also believe the difficulty setting has a role in it also. Check daily in
game time, and see if it changes. Also hire that guy/gal at 907 to free up a spot, and see if the next one is higher after a couple of days. Also open up a couple of new branch offices.

It looks that the tyre repair value is calculated over a percentage of the wheel base value. The more expensive the wheels the more expensive the repairs. Makes sense.
Hope to get some light ont the driver rankings...

Good insight, and info. Also the way you drive plays a major role in this too. Your speed in general, the way you take a turn, and of course constant heavy braking at a high rate of speed will significantly increase tire/brake repairs. I try to use the engine brake to reduce these costs. Gentle taps on the brakes will slow you down fairly well when not use the engine brake
(Jake Brake).
