a.) Never heard of it, and
b.) I definitely don't want this feature in the game. The Macchi info is irrelevant, in what situation do have less than 1000rpm? On the ground or you have a stalled engine. In the latter situation you don't need the prop anymore... Spit: This would kill instant action on full real servers - imagine you have to fly around for 15min till you can pop your first round. That would be so AWSOME! No. ![]() Well, it's not like I cared, because I never fly red, but anyway |

Why, don't you spend at least 15 minute to gain altitude after your takeoff?

15min?
I'm fine with 4.500, takes what, ~8min? What the heck are you doing up there anyway? You cant dive much more than 2000min because of the speed build-up. Sure, you could brake, but then; why go up so hight in the first place? BTT: I just downloaded all German Fighter Manuals of the 109/190 and could NOT find similar restrictions, at least not for an airplane while in air. |

BTW 15min can be the time needed to climb at altitude and reach the hot zone. ![]()

No need to be insulting, xilon!
But i agree, "full real" and instant action don't go well together! To be a good fighter pilot one has to manage his workload like engine management, cooling management, hydraulic pressure, pneumatic pressure, fuel management, oxygen management, AND have situational awareness, fly the plane to get tactical advantage, know the opponent. and much more. anything else is arcade!!!

I think il2 has something like ages 7+ on the box and I bet sow will too, so you can argue until you are blue in the face about arcade, until you are shot down by a super brat
