Same thing here, as soon as you are nearing the bridgeheads from the south you start to experience a FPS drop...

I think it has to do something with the models, too many building models loading unproperly or the bridges are too heavy together and make a FPS drop...

I had the same thing when I played ETS on my own map and when I placed too many buildings on 1 place without giving them a loading boundary...

The Bay bridge area I notice the most fps drops so I just stay away from them most of the time. I think it's to do with all the road bridges. Lolsmurf do you prefer this to ETS yet?

Funny how that is the recommended specs for the game. They should be working on more optimization for the next patch

I don't know if this was said before.

If the fps drops below playable levels, save the game, and quit completely, not just to the main manu, to the desktop. Run the game again, and load the save, then the fps should be back to normal.

This worked for me. Its not a solution just a workaround.

Yes heading from San Jose to San Fransisco. Everything is fine until I enter S.F. then, it becomes a slide show until a little after you choose either the bay bridge or G.G. bridge then it becomes fine.

how do you mean ?

If your question is whether I like this game more than ETS the answer is yes.
This game doesnt get boring after playing it several hours and making choises affect the story so everybody plays the game on his/her own way
